I'm trying to get better at cooking, so I'd like to record all the recipes I learn which turn out well.
Cookies
Ingredients:
- 180g of plain flour
- 73g of brown sugar
- 150g of butter
- 70g of chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 2tbsp of cinnamon
1. Put the flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and egg into a mixing bowl and mix. I recommend using an electric whisk as it can take a while.
2. Now that it's a dough, put in the chocolate chips and begin mixing until somewhat evenly distributed throughout the dough.
3. Create a cookie shape and place it on a tray (with baking paper on it). Keep doing so until you've used up all the dough
4. Put in the oven for roughly ten minutes.
Pizza dough
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of warm (but not hot) water
- 1 packet of yeast
- 1 teaspoon of white sugar
- 2 1/2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
1. Pour the warm water into a mixing bowl, then the yeast and sugar. Mix and wait a few minutes.
2. Now add in the flour, oil and salt. Knead and mix until it turns into a smooth dough.
3. Now use the dough to make a pizza base, add your toppings and put into the oven.
Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 200ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 100g of all-use flour
1. Pour the milk and eggs into a mixing bowl and begin mixing.
2. Now pour in the flour and keep mixing until it's a somehwat smooth batter..
3. The actual mixture is done and can be put into a frying pan!.
I enjoy having the first two pancakes have a layer of jam and the top having some syrup. Each layer with some cinnamon sprinkled on. The syrup sinks down onto the jam layers and it tastes amazing.
